St Michaels Homes Ltd comprises of 2 homes within 5 minutes of each other in the most beautiful countryside. It is a family run business and our residents and staff all matter. Both homes are proud of who we are, as approximately 33% of our staff have been with us for over 10 years.We are a family owned and managed company. Our residents are not numbers on a balance sheet, WE CARE. We have a well established reputation for quality care. Our homes are adjacent to each other, nestling in beautiful park like gardens, surrounded by lovely Essex countryside, with abundant wild life, including deer as regular visitors. Dudbrook Hall, a country house and ancestral home of the Waldegrave family dating back to 1602, was used to billet RAF officers based at Stapleford and Weald airdromes. We are registered with CQC (Care Quality Commission) an independent body, responsible for the registration and inspection/monitoring of all homes. Having continuously achieved excellent reports and recently under new rating system, graded 2 = Good (with a high proportion of sectors receiving scores of 4, which denotes excellence).
